From Frustrated Man to Master Seducer

Let's start with a question.

-If the girl of your dreams appeared before you, on the street, or in a coffee shop, would you go talk to her?

-Not unless I feel totally mesmerized, I would not.

The one who asked this question is Ronald, a small Asian man who is in his thirties, with a round face, with a bit of a monotone voice, who is wearing an ordinary grey vest. Not exactly the type of guy that we would imagine being a seduction coach. However his customers pay between 200$ and 2000$ so that he transforms them into Don Juans.

The other person who answers, is me. I am in my 20s, single, not too bad looking. I decided to try an accelerated course.

Ronald told me that in a society where women make the sexual choices, which means man approach women and women decided to accept their advances or not, the majority of males are terrorized at the idea of approaching a girl.

Walking down Granville, we see two young girls looking sporty who are talking inside a coffee shop. This is the second try, I'm new in town and I'm looking for a bar to spend the night in, but I am standing straight.

They suggest to me a few places, but without much connection, I switch to a new question: how do you know each other?, they say they are yoga teachers going to the same school. Without knowing what to say next, I ask: and if I wanted to catch a lesson, which one of you is the best teacher? they smile, and the conversation stays on yoga. I feel like I've abused of their time too long and I excuse myself.

Ronald who is never standing too far away, shows appreciation for my body language and my innovative way of creating chemistry. He explains to me that my effort was good but that I stayed too much in interview mode. I should have talked more about me, so that they would get the impression that they are not talking to a total stranger.

Third try, in a bar somewhat classy, a blonde girl and a brunette are talking over a glass of something. Ronald asks me to go and start conversation with them, with a opener that goes like this: "I saw you through the window and wanted to tell you that you are quite cute".

The blonde gives me a huge smile and thanks me for the compliment. She asks me where I'm from, and I pretend to be French. It was a good thing because they have been to Paris. What a nice romantic town!

Soon enough, we have compared Vancouver to Paris and I feel that if I keep going they will fall asleep. So I switch subjects talking about what they are wearing. One is dress more European, and the other more American. They find this funny, especially Brooke, the brunette.

It was then that Brooke who became my target. She speaks a bit of French so I ask her to tell me her story. She studies in Victoria. Ronald told me to avoid interviewing, so tell her that what she is saying is a bit boring. I ask her to tell me about her passion. She says that she has a passion for theater, of which I know nothing about. It doesn't matter, she lights up when she is talking about it.

The blonde, feeling left out leaves to go outside, and Ronald who is looking impatient whispers in my hear to stop wasting my time and ask for her email. Brooke gives me her email without me even asking for it. She then gives me a kiss on both cheeks.

Ronald congratulates me but tells me I didn't create sexual tension with her. I should have touched her more, and tell her hidden sexual words. He tells me I have a lot to learn.

Thanks but I've had enough for today.
