I learned a lot this weekend. Beforehand, I thought I had a good idea where I was and what I had to do to achieve good game. The good news is that there is not a whole lot to the Natural method. For those of you who did not participate and are still learning, you really missed something. For those of you who are experts, you really missed something. Portland is not a hot spot for PUA events. Thanks to Max who got Ronald to visit here.

I will just do this in Q&A format. If I mis-state something, Ronald can correct it. I have some skills to develop, so don't take this as a plug until I can demonstrate my success.

1. There are numerous PUAs with a system out there. What is so special about this one?

A: This one identifies some core things that many mPUAs are doing, but do not identify it well in their curricula. These are creating tension (some identify this) and making a connection (I have not seen others identify this like Ronald does.) I don't know that it really is a 'system.' It is more like a skill. The connection must involve both you and your set. If your sarge is not exchanging emotional vibes, you are not making the connection you want. And why waste so much time doing indirect when you can see immediately if she is interested?

2. How do you know mPUAs use this?

A: First we watched a video of one of Ronald's students running what I thought was perfect game on a street in Vancouver. Then we watched a video that Ronald had made with a high level PUA. There was an obvious big difference in the affect that each had on their set. His student kept the interest of his set and got a phone number. I doubt he closed or even got a day 2. It stressed the woman out. The PUA, well... the woman was enamored. I have seen the same behaviors in videos of Lance Mason and some others.

3. So, you took a class and you are now in post-class euphoria. You can not yet do it yourself. How do you know this works?

A: No one asked Ronald to perform. He just did it all night as if it were habit. The highlight was when we were leaving Touche and I stopped a three set entering the door to check their IDs. And then the sharks attacked. Ronald observed us for a while and then isolated the 21yo HB9. I don't know how to best describe it except it is like when you see a woman in deep and serious conversation with her friend - the enamored and hypnotic look. Ronald dominated the conversation, but she was talking, too. Her friends could not drag her away. She was focused deeply on Ronald's face. After a long 20 minutes, several guys came down and dragged her away. She really enjoyed what Ronald was doing. Seeing is believing.

In the sets I did direct approach, I was not shut down. This was a surprise to me since I had it built in my mind that most women would dismiss such an intense and unannounced event as BS. My sets were instantly captivated and expected me to continue. Each one was very interested. I froze up and was unable to command and multi-thread the conversation. Must practice.

4. What makes you think Ronald's method works? After all, he knows several mPUAs personally and would therefore be well trained in their techniques.

A: Ronald showed up at night in a gray flannel shirt and jeans, no props, no alpha male persona - just some dude in a bar. No one would mistake him for Brad Pitt. I never saw him spend any time doing indirect routines. He just held himself perfectly and took control of his conversations. No BS. No theatrics.

You can practice this with guys. It is not sexual. I don't really know why it becomes sexual for women. But they definitely crave it from men. As Zan says in his videos, the only thing men have to offer women in the modern world is seduction.

5. How well do his students do?

A: Ronald brought along Cary and Michael who he referred to as 'newbies.' These guys did excellent and I would not have termed them as such. They were a fun group - and educational. Michael did a lot of Ross Jeffries techniques. It was the first time I saw that done. Yes, that works well in conjunction with the direct method.

6. So how do I apply this to my game?

A: Do an approach where you merely go up to her and say, "I could not help but notice you. You have an amazing energy and I am attracted to that. Tell me about something that inspires you. I want to know something about you." Of course you need confidence, posture, kino, etc. Gaze into her eyes and feel what she is feeling. Ask her how what she is talking about makes her feel. Listen to her. Then RIFF off onto a similar topic about yourself and tell how that makes you feel. Change the topics abruptly. Go Wide and Deep - Multi-thread. You have to be in charge, but let her talk as well. It is a skill to develop. The important thing is to get her talking about how she feels about a variety of emotional topics; and, you do the same.

7. So do Canadians make good props?

A: Yes, they do. Try things like bringing a woman over to two people and say, "Guess which one is the Canadian and you may take him home." Or try, "Hon, watch this man. He is a Canadian. No telling what covert operation he is conducting tonight. Go ahead and check his pockets" The problem is this will likely end up with the Canadian getting laid.

8. Does South Park depict Canadians accurately?

A: Yes it does. But it leaves out one dark fact. They come down here to steal our women. We must retaliate by going up there and stealing THEIR women. Any Pirates here!
